TANZA, Cavite – Cavite Provincial Governor Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla Jr. led the turnover of four rubber boats and a speed boat to Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Cavite in a simple rite held in Villa Excellance Beach and Wave Pool Resort in Barangay Sahud Ulan, Friday, November 4, 2022.

“The said maritime assets will be used in enforcing maritime laws and in search and rescue operations in vicinity waters off Cavite to ultimately ensure the safety of lives and properties at sea,” said Coast Guard Commodore Hostillo Arturo Cornelio, commander, CGD National Capital Region, Central Luzon.

Cornelio said the new water assets will help intensify the presence of the Coast Guard personnel in the province and to serve the locals by upholding maritime security, safety, and environmental protection.

Witnessing the turnover were Tanza Mayor Yuri Pacumio, Tanza Municipal Administrator Tutuy Sanariz, and Villa Excellance Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Carlo Castro.
Last May 19, 2021, the Cavite provincial government turned over two engine speed boats and four personal watercraft or Jet Skis to PCG Cavite, which boosts maritime security in the province.
