PBBM’s housing program
THE government’s highly-ambitious national housing program is seen to finally address the country’s homelessness problem.
Many believe that Mr. Marcos’ Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) program “will succeed in solving the problem.”
In fact, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) is out to continue in pursuing the dream of the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos (FEM).
It was the dream of FEM, father of President Bongbong Marcos, “na lahat ng Pilipino ay magkaroon ng sariling tahanan.”
Acuzar said the directive of President Marcos “is to monitor the implementation of 4PH for our poor countrymen and others who dream of having their own houses.”
Last week, housing officials were in Mindanao to launch two more 4PH projects in Zamboanga City and Surigao del Norte.
Led by Acuzar, the housing executives, local government officials and members of the House of Representatives also visited ongoing projects in the impoverished region.
Of course, the private sector plays a crucial role in the implementation of the Marcos administration’s nationwide housing program.
