PBBM, Tingog, Speaker aid Zambales families
THE Marcos administration and the offices of Tingog Party-list and Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez have led the distribution of P5,000 Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) to the 2,000 persons with disabilities (PWDs), solo parents and other vulnerable sectors of the 1st District of Zambales at Subic Sports Complex Thursday.
Tingog Party-list Reps. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez and Jude Acidre, in cooperation with Zambales 1st District Rep. Jay Khonghun and the Department of Social and Welfare Development (DSWD) under Sec. Rex Gatchalian, distributed timely aid to needy individuals and families.
Rep. Yedda announced how much she loved the warm and big welcome of Zambaleños to Tingog Party-list.
She also acknowledged the partnership between the 1st District and Tingog Party-list.
Beneficiaries of the AICS payout in the First District of Zambales include PWDs, solo parents, and other groups, as well as Tulungan ang Bayan at Kabuhayan (TABAK) members.
The Khonghun clan formed TABAK organization, whose members come from a variety of local industries, including the transport group of Zambales First District.
The hosts enlivened the event, in addition to their wonderful vocals, incredible footwork, and dancing by student dancers from Kolehiyo ng Subic.
In addition to Rep. Yedda and Khonghun, Castillejos Mayor Jeffrey Khonghun, a former 1st District representative, and Subic Mayor Jonathan Khonghun, as well as their respective Sangguniang Bayan members, Zambales Vice Governor Jacqueline Khonghun, and Mr. Jonathan Dirain, the DSWD Regional Director of Central Luzon also attended the event.
Comedian-artist Lassy and Verna, a former co-host of Wowowin, entertained the crowd.
As Vice Governor Jacqueline Khonghun acknowledged the presence of the guests and VIPs, she expressed her gratitude to Rep. Yedda.
Rep. Jay Khonghun also expressed his deep appreciation to Rep. Yedda. \
Other than the financial assistance given to the beneficiaries, Tingog Party-list gave prizes for raffle prizes, including grocery packages, sacks of rice, electric fans, rice cookers, refrigerators, smart TVs, bicycles and the major prizes, two motorcycles.
The Offices of the President, Speaker, and Tingog Party-list engaged in an effective and fruitful partnership with the local government units (LGUs), showing the real essence of public service delivery and successfully achieving the purpose of offsite payout.
Through the activities of the Tingog Party-list and the affiliated organizations, beneficiaries said the event has helped a lot of people who are genuinely in need.
