PBBM swears in new officers of House women’s bloc

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. administered the oath of office of the 33 newly- elected officers of the Association of Women Legislators Foundation, Inc. (AWLFI), including Tingog Party-list Representative Yedda Marie Romualdez, wife of Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez; and former President Senior Deputy Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in a ceremony in Malacanang.
Romualdez and Arroyo took their oaths as chairman and chairman of the Council of Advisers, respectively.

Other solons who took their oaths were Representatives Linabelle Ruth Villarica, president; Florida Robes, senior vice president; Emmarie Ouano-Dizon, internal vice president; Ma. Lucille Nava, external vice president; Maria Theresa Collantes, Stella Luz Quimbo and Luisa Lloren Cuaresma, vice president for Luzon; Maria Fe Abunda, Janette Garin and Mercedes Alvarez, vice president for Visayas; Glona Labadlabad, Divina Grace Yu and Maria Carmen Zamora, vice president for Mindanao; Jocelyn Tulfo and Margarita Ignacia Nograles, vice president for party-list; Midy Cua, Marissa Magsino and Marjorie Ann Teodoro, secretary; Ma. Rachel Arenas and Marie Bernadette Escudero, treasurer; Bernadette Herrera, Marlyn Alone and Ma. Rene Ann Lourdes Matibag, auditor; Rosanna Vergara, Irene Gay Saulog and Ruth Mariano-Hernandez, business manager; Lianda Bolilia, Josefina Tallado and Claudine Diana Bautista-Lim, public relations officer; Ysabel Maria Zamora, legal counsel; and Lorna Silverio, special assistant to the chairman of the Council of Advisers.

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, special assistant to the President Secretary Antonio Lagdameo Jr. and Presidential Management Staff Head Secretary Naida Angping graced the occasion.
