PBBM Senate slate all set for 2025 midterms
THE administration’s powerhouse Senate slate, under the banner of Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas, is all set for the May 2025 midterm elections.
Navotas City Rep. Toby Tiangco, campaign manager of Alyansa, is tasked to advance President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s vision of progress and transformation through the administration Senate slate.
“This campaign is bigger than politics. It’s about a Bagong Pilipinas—a new Philippines that every Filipino can see, feel and take pride in,” Tiangco said.
The administration’s Senate slate is composed of a formidable roster of political heavyweights, including former Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, Senator Pia Cayetano, Senator Lito Lapid, former Senators Panfilo Lacson and Manny Pacquiao, Senator Imee Marcos, Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, Senator Francis Tolentino, former Social Welfare Secretary Erwin Tulfo, and Deputy Speaker Camille Villar.
As campaign manager, Tiangco will spearhead a nationwide operation that brings Bagong Pilipinas to life in every barangay, town and city across the country.
“We plan to bring the senatorial slate to 21 campaign rallies across the country in conjunction with the provincial schedule of the President,” Tiangco told the media on Saturday, beginning next week in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, the home province of the Marcoses.
With a grassroots-driven approach, the campaign will amplify the administration’s call for unity and transformation, rallying Filipinos behind a Senate that will work in step with President Marcos to build a stronger, more progressive nation.
