PBBM pays respect to late father Marcos Sr.
PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. visited the tomb of his father, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig.
Marcos was joined by his mother, former First Lady Imelda Marcos.
In his remarks during his visit, the President vowed to carry on his father’s legacy by working to drive the development of the country and improve the living condition of ordinary Filipinos.
Marcos highlighted the sincerity and dedication of his father.
As a young child, the President said he observed the good leadership qualities of his father as a young child.
“Ngayon na nakaupo ngayon ako bilang Pangulo, mas lalong naging mahalaga ang kanyang mga salita,” he said.
“Alam ninyo pagka mayroon tayong patay nakalagay diyan RIP, rest in peace.
President Marcos also expressed gratitude to all those who continue to support the Marcos family over the years.
