May karapatang maging proud ang dating “Eat Bulaga” Dabarkads/actress dahil for the first time ay lumabas si Vic sa kanyang comfort zone.

Seryoso ang premise ng naturang entry ng MQuest Ventures, M-Zet Productions at APT Entertainment tungkol sa isang “uncolonized Philippines.” At si Vic ang gumaganap bilang Lakan Makisig, ang hari ng Kaharian ng Kalayaan.

Saludo rin ang mga nakapanood sa special screening sa screenplay ni Michelle Ngu-Nario, FSG, na buhay na buhay sa direksyon ni Direk Mike Tuviera.

Malakas ang laban ng pelikula para sa Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Picture at acting awards sa Gabi ng Parangal.

Siguradong marami ring makaka-relate at madadala sa mga eksena rito dahil kahit fictional ang Kaharian ng Kalayaan, very relevant at timely naman ang mga ganap sa buhay ng mga karakter.

In terms of family drama, ramdam mo ang bigat ng dinadala ni Lakan Makisig dahil sa nangyayari sa kaharian at sa loob ng kanyang tahanan.

Pero ang pinaka-highlight ng movie? Ang paghaharap nina Bossing Vic at Papa P.

Marahil, isa na ito sa most powerful scenes ng “The Kingdom” na dapat abangan sa Dec. 25.
