Pasig is Batang Pinoy champion

Pasig City was formally crowned as the 2024 Batang Pinoy champions after dethroning the four-time winner Baguio City.
Pasig bagged 105 gold medals, based on the final tally at the close of the six-day competition over the weekend at the Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
The Pasig City bets also added 64 silver and 116 bronze medals for a total of 285 mints in the youth sports program organized by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC)
Baguio City placed second after collecting 92 gold, 72 silver and 89 bronze medals for a total of 253.
Pasig City tankers Arvin Naeem Taguinota II was named the most bemadalled athlete after splash his ways to six golds.
Quezon City had 59 gold, 55 silver and 53 bronze medals for the third place, while Davao City (39-44-37) and General Santos City (36-30-40) placed fourth and fifth.
The overall champion will receive P5 million from the PSC while those finishing second, third, fourth and fifth will receive 4, 3, 2, 1 million pesos, respectively.
