Paranaque receives service vehicles from private firm

TO safeguard its employees in the current pandemic situation, the Paranaque City Government received ten brand-new vans donated by the Perry’s Group of Companies through its “Malasakit Wheels for a Cause Program”.

The service vehicles donation was personally received by Mayor Edwin Olivarez and Business Permit and Licensing Office chief lawyer Melanie Malaya from Perry’s president Lourdes Grace Mapalad, during a simple ceremony at the city hall.

Olivarez said the donated service vehicles will also be used by city hall employees especially those who will be assigned in the Express Lingkod Office (ELO) Service Center in Ayala Malls Manila Bay that will be operational starting June this year.

He disclosed that the city hall satellite offices will soon to open beside the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange or PITX along Coastal Road in Barangay Tambo.

The mayor added that the five-storey satellite office in the PITX will also house the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Social Security and Services (SSS), Government Service and Insurance System (GSIS), and other counterpart national government agencies.
