Pampanga woman falls victim to ‘Basag-Kotse’
A 29-YEAR-OLD woman on Friday night fell victim to “basag-kotse gang” in Sto. Tomas, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal identified the victim as Irene, of Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Initial probe showed the victim parked her vehicle, a black Hyundai with plate number CIM86, in front of Rhanema’s building in Bgy. San Matias, Sto. Tomas around 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
When she returned to her car, a concerned citizen told her the vehicle’s window was broken and upon checking, her two bags containing P48,000 cash were already missing.
Based on the CCTV, two men broke the right front window of her car, took the bags then fled on a motorcycle.
