Pampanga cops net drug ‘peddler’ for P374K shabu

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Pampanga cops arrested a drug peddler and seized at least P400,000 worth of shabu on Thursday in an entrapment operation in Guagua, Pampanga.

Pampanga Police acting Director Col. Jonas Amparo said joint elements of the RPDEU-3, SCU-RID3, PIU Pampanga, and Guagua Police conducted the buy-bust on Angelito Bartolo, 60, of Bgy. San Jose, Guagua, Pampanga.

Seized from Bartolo were three cellular phones, two pouches, 12 plastic sachets of shabu weighing at least 55 grams with an estimated DDB (Dangerous Drugs Board) value of P374,000, and the P1,000 marked money.

The suspect will be charged with a violation of R.A. 9165.

“We are relentless in our campaign against illegal drugs and we will keep on conducting anti-drug operations to stop its proliferation. May this serve as a warning to those who are still involved in the illegal drug trade and illegal activities,” said PRO3 (Police Regional Office 3) Director Brig. Gen. Matthew P. Baccay.
