Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A robbery suspect on Sunday was arrested a few hours after he robbed a convenience store in Pampanga.

Acting Pampanga police director Col. Robin Sarmiento identified the arrested suspect as Alfie de Guzman, 31, of Bgy. Cansinala, Apalit, Pampanga.

Sarmiento said De Guzman went inside the Alfamart convenience store located in Bgy. Barit, Candaba, Pampanga, and at gunpoint ordered the store’s workers Mary Jane Roxas, 24, and Reynalyn Torres, 31, to hand him the store earnings worth at least P16,000 from the cash register.

The two crew immediately reported the incident to the Candaba police who along with members of the San Luis police launched an operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspect in Bgy. Sta Monica, San Luis.

Seized from De Guzman were the P16,600 stolen cash, a replica of a .45 pistol, and a motorcycle.

“This accomplishment only goes to show that PRO3 is quick in resolving cases and very serious in its campaign against lawlessness, ” Brig. Gen Valeriano De Leon said.
