
PA reactivates chief infantry office
THE Philippine Army reactivated its Office of the Chief Infantry to strengthen the force structure and enhance the capabilities of infantry units.
The ceremony was presided over by Army Chief Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido at the Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
“The reactivation of the Office of the Chief Infantry marks a strategic step toward strengthening our force structure and enhancing the capabilities of our infantry units,” the Army Chief said in his keynote remarks.
The office will serve as the “nerve center for planning force design, capability development, and the seamless integration of doctrines into operations.
“This is to ensure that infantry units will serve as a formidable and adaptable fighting force in support of the strategic shift to external security operations.”
The Army Chief added that the reactivation of the Office of the Chief Infantry reaffirms the Army’s dedication to “sustaining programs and innovations that will enhance operational readiness and effectiveness. Col. Victorino M Seño will lead the reactivated office.
