P90K shabu, unlicensed gun seized from 4 in Cabanatuan
CABANATUAN CITY — Local anti-narcotics police seized illegal drugs worth less than P90,000, including an unlicensed gun from four men during stepped-up anti-illegal drug operations conducted here on Friday night.
Provincial police head Col. Richard V. Caballero said his men led by Cabanatuan police chief Lt. Col. Edilmar Alviar spearheaded the operation which was conducted in Purok Ilang-ilang, Bgy. Mayapyap Sur at 8:40 p.m. here.
Nabbed were four jobless suspects, all residents of Bgys. Dalampang, Mayapyap Sur and Fatima in this city.
During the arrest, Caballero said the suspects yielded a total of five plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 12.71 grams with a street value of P86,428, including a cal.38 revolver with five bullets.
In San Jose City, police led by Lt. Col. Marlon M. Cudal apprehended a male costumer inside the Magellan Grille and Restobar along Maharlika Highway in Bgy. Malasin for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
The 57-year-old suspect, a resident of Bgy. Sto. Niňo 1st, was spotted with a cal. 45 pistol tucked in his waist while having drinks inside the bar at 10:20 p.m.
Cudal said the suspect was immediately taken to the police station for filing of charges after failing to present the required gun documents.
