HOUSE committee on appropriations chairman and Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co on Friday said the P5.268-trillion 2023 national budget will help the country move forward from the pandemic to prosperity.

This GAA for 2023 will help the Philippines recover from the continuing effects of the pandemic and move forward to prosperity),” said Co, who helped shepherd the law in the House of Representatives.

House Majority Leader Manuel Jose “Mannix” M. Dalipe welcomed the enactment of the 2023 national budget.

“This record-breaking enactment of the country’s P5.268 Trillion national budget for 2023 is proof of the Marcos administration’s unparalleled commitment to quickly set into motion all the programs needed to revive the economy. This shows that the President fully understands the need to sign the budget bill without delay to quickly address the needs of our people,” Dalipe said.
