CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — An alleged notorious drug pusher in San Rafael, Bulacan was arrested Friday by authorities through a buy-bust operation wherein police seized from him more than P300,000 worth of illegal drugs.
According to the report of PCol Lawrence Cajipe, Police director of Bulacan PPO, to Gen. Val de Leon, Region 3 director, members of the Drug Enforcement Unit of San Rafael PNP conducted an anti-illegal drugs operation at Bgy. Caingin, San Rafael which resulted in the arrest of John Jerwin Abady Ramos, @Nikca, 28, single, presently residing in Bgy. Caingin, San Rafael.
Seized from his possession were three pieces of small to medium size transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 50 grams with an estimated DDB street value of P325,000 and P3,000 bill as marked money.
Appropriate charges for violation of Sec. 5 and Sec. 11 Article 11 of Republic Act 9165 are being prepared for filing against the suspects, said Cajipe.
De Leon said these apprehensions have a great impact to the government’s campaign against criminality especially on illegal drugs, in line with the Internal Cleansing Policy of PNP Chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar.
