P2M shabu seized in Pampanga
TWO drug traffickers were arrested and seized from them was at least P2 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust Thursday afternoon in Mexico, Pampanga.
A report to Pampanga police director Col. Arnold Thomas C. Ibay said suspects Ali Malik alias Alex, 31, of Blk-169, Lot-7, Paliparan-II and Abulais Omadan alias Abu, 26, of Blk-1, Lot-1, Bgy., San Antonio De Padua-2, both from Dasmariñas City, Cavite, were arrested in a drug operation in Bgy. Lagundi, Mexico by the joint elements of the Pampanga police and Mexico police led by Cpt. Jeffrey Jalandoni, under the supervision of Lt. Col. Protom Guevarra.
Ibay said confiscated were four plastic sachets containing shabu weighing at least 305 grams valued at P2,074,000; a weighing scale; P500 bill and P9,500 marked money; a cellphone; and a sling bag containing P1,785 cash. Police also impounded the Toyota Vios used by the suspects.
The two suspects were brought to the PIU office and will be charged with violation of Section 5 in Relation to Sec. 26 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165.
