A KILO and ten grams of marijuana were confiscated from two suspects in the latest anti-drug operation in Quezon City

District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) operstives arrested two suspects and confiscated more than one kilo of marijuana worth P132,000 in a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Veterans Village, Quezon City.

PMAJ Wennie Ann A Cale, DDEU chief, identified the suspects as La Hiroya Ikoma, 20, resident of Brgy. 64, Caloocan City; and Aaron Gabriel Gregorio, 19, resident of Brgy. 16, Caloocan City. The suspects were nabbed at about 5:10 p.m. of October 10, 2021 in front of 57 Anahaw St., Brgy. Veterans Village, Quezon City after an informant tipped off the police regarding the illegal drug peddling activities of the suspects.

Confiscated from the suspects were more or less a kilo and 10 grams of marijuana amounting to P132,000, a cellular phone, a white Toyota Innova with plate number ADA 4273, and the buy-bust money.

The suspects will be charged with violation of R.A. 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
