P.4M shabu seized from 2 in Makati
A YOUNG man who was previously arrested and charge in court for possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia was arrested anew, along with his cohort, in a buy-bust operation Tuesday in Makati City.
Southern Police District (SPD) Director P/BGen. Jimili Macaraeg identified the arrested suspects as Jhon Carlos Trimbevilla, 24 of Blk. 109, Lot 34, M.H. Del Pilar St. Brgy. Rizal and Jayson Narvasa, 18 of Blk. 109, Lot 24, Ricarte St., Brgy. Rizal.
Macaraeg said Trimbevilla was previously charged for violation of Section 13 and 14 of R.A. 9165 or possession of drugs and paraphernalia during a social gathering and the case was elevated to Makati Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 65 but was allowed to post bail for his temporary liberty.
At around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, elements of Makati Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) under the direct supervision of city police chief P/Col. Harold Depositar conducted a buy-bust operation against Trimbevilla along Filmore St Brgy. Palanan.
When he and his cohort handed a knot tied transparent plastic bag of shabu to a police poseur-buyer in exchange for P35,000 marked money, operatives immediately pounced on them.
During body searched, operatives confiscated around 62 grams of shabu with standard drug price of P421,600 from the suspects and the marked money consisting of P1,000 genuine bill and 34 pieces of boodle money.
