SAN JOSE CITY — An alleged break-in by unidentified thieves was reported in an agricultural trading office here with about P300,000 in cash carted away during the heist, police reported.

Newly-designated police officer-in-charge Lt. Col. Palmyra D. Guardaya said the robbery occurred at the Brillo Agri-Trading Office in Zone 3, Bgy. Kaliwanagan here. It was discovered Saturday at 7 a.m.

Guardaya added the firm’s owner, businessman Tomas Brillo Jr., 49, told police that the suspects broke into his office by destroying first the air-con grill installed at the back of the building.
Carted away by the unidentified suspects was the P300,000 money placed inside the victim’s office drawer.
