P.2M shabu seized from woman in Pasay
OPERATIVES of Southern Police District (SPD) arrested a 51-year-old woman and seized more than P.2 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation Monday evening in Pasay City.
SPD Director P/BGen. Jimili Macaraeg said Zade Bugasto of San Nicolas, Molino, Bacoor, Cavite was nabbed by joint elements of District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) and Pasay City police at around 9 p.m. at the Amazing Show, CCP Complex after she handed medium-size plastic sachet of shabu worth P500 to a police poseur-buyer.
The arrest of Bugasto was the result of more than a week intelligence and monitoring operation conducted by elements of District Intelligence Division, under the supervision of P/Lt. Col. Renante Galang, following a tip from their confidential informant about the illegal drug activity of the suspect.
DEU operatives and Pasay police seized from the arrested suspect more of less 30 grams of shabu with standard drug price of P204,000 and the P500 marked money.
Meanwhile, BGen. Macaraeg announced the arrest of seven other drug personalities, including a member of notorious Roces Illegal Drug Group in a Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) in the cities of Makati, Las Pinas and Taguig and in the Municipality of Pateros and confiscation of around P120,360 worth of illegal drugs on Monday.
Macaraeg identified the arrested suspects as Carlo Catalan, 35, Junaid Boteri, 40, who were both arrested in buy-bust operation in Makati, Dindo Camalig, 44, Michael Reyes, 42 who were nabbed in Las Pinas City, Mark Ericson Garcia, 35, in Taguig and Marlon Enaje, 37, an alleged member of Roces Drug Group and Ross Perez 40 who were both apprehended in a drug sting operation in Pateros.
