P.2M shabu seized from jobless man in Laguna
A 44-YEAR-OLD jobless man was nabbed Saturday morning by operatives of Drug Enforcement Team (DET) after they seized from his possession shavu worth more or less worth P200,000 in Sta Cruz, Laguna.
Laguna Police Provincial Director PCol. Rogarth Campo in his report to CALABARZON Regional Director PBGen. Eliseo DC Cruz identified the arrested suspect as Reggie Guevarra, of Sitio Dao, Bgy. Santisima Cruz, Santa Cruz, Laguna.
The DET led by PLt. Laudemer Abang together with PDEA Laguna served a search warrant against the suspect for violation of RA 9165 at about 1:15 a.m. in Sitio Dao, Brgy. Santisima Cruz, Santa Cruz, Laguna.
The search warrant was issued by Executive Judge Divinagracia G. Bustos-Ongkeko, of the Regional Trial Court 4th Judicial Region in Santa Cruz.
Seized from a TV rack inside the suspect’s house were five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P200,000, a lighter and a coin purse.
The arrested suspect together and the evidence were turned over to the Laguna Provincial Crime Laboratory Office, Kampo Heneral Paciano Rizal, in .Bagumbayan, Sta Cruz, Laguna for examination.
