Over P5M Ecstasy seized by PDEA

JOINED Anti-Narcotics personnel intercepted illegal party drugs “Ecstasy” worth P5.2 million Saturday in Pasong Tamo, Tandang Sora, Quezon City, authorities reported.

Three suspects were also arrested by the operatives in the Controlled Delivery Operation, said Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Wilkins Villanueva.

Villanueva said based on the official after-operation report the drug operatives confiscated six plastic pouches from the suspects containing 3,054 pieces and more or less 10 grams of broken pieces of blue and pink tablets suspected to be ecstasy.

The report said the information was relayed by Chinese Customs to the PDEA authorities about the certain package from Zaandam, the Netherlands containing illegal drugs that arrived on January 20, 2022 at the Port of Clark and it was declared as solar lights for home use.

The suspects and confiscated illegal drugs are now in the custody of (PDEA) for further investigation. With Bernard Galang
