Last November, I wasn’t able to give you our monthly #kasabihansakamalayan poems. I had to write some articles which I felt you had to read for the week. As such, I am starting this Month of December with the poems I am excited to share with you as we prepare for Christmas Celebrations. First week of Advent, a candle we light,
Hope fills our hearts, with joy so bright.
Second week comes, with peace we embrace,
Love in our actions, a gentle grace.
Third week arrives, with joy we proclaim,
Faith in our spirits, a burning flame.
Fourth week approaches, with Christmas so near,
Peace on Earth, a message we hold dear.
LOVE embraces, with open arms,
FAITH believes, through life’s alarms.
HOPE ignites, where darkness hides,
FORTITUDE leaps, where fear resides.
TEMPERANCE waits, with steady hand,
PRUDENCE heals, throughout the land.
JUSTICE shines, a beacon bright,
These VIRTUES stands, in darkest night.
St. Nicholas, with a jolly cheer,
Our Parol shines, with lights so clear.
The Christmas tree stands tall and bright,
An Angel watches, with guiding light.
Christ in the manger, with hope and glee,
Carollers sing, for all to see.
Church Bells chime out, a joyful sound,
Truly, Christmas magic fills us all around.
Christ in the manger, a sight to behold,
Christ in the manger, a story to be told.
Christ in the manger, a King in disguise,
Christ in the manger, with love in His eyes.
Christ in the manger, a promise so grand,
Christ in the manger, He holds our hand.
Christ in the manger, a light in the night,
Christ in the manger, a beacon so bright.
A forgiving heart sees past the wrong,
A forgiving heart where love is strong.
A forgiving heart releases hate,
A forgiving heart opens up a gate.
A forgiving heart embraces grace,
A forgiving heart finds a better place.
A forgiving heart is a gift to give,
A forgiving heart helps us truly live.
Our Parol shines, a star so bright,
Our Parol lights, the darkest night.
Our Parol hangs a symbol dear,
Our Parol whispers, hope so clear.
Our Parol weaves, a festive scene,
Our Parol glows, a Christmas dream.
Our Parol tells, a story old,
Our Parol shines, in hearts of gold.
Prayer for unity, for you and me.
Prayer for serenity, amidst the bustling street,
Prayer for resources, to make our ends meet.
Prayer for wisdom, in the face of doubt,
Prayer for courage, when fears shout out.
Prayer for blessings, both big and small,
Prayer for love, when loneliness call.
Prayer for healing, when bodies ache,
Prayer for solace, when hearts break.
Prayer for peace, in troubled times,
Prayer for hope, that always climbs.
Prayer for kindness, in all we do,
Prayer for a world, where peace shines through.
