Or. Mindoro rape suspect falls in Batangas
POLICE the other day reported the most wanted person (MWP) for rape in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro, was nabbed by joint police forces after serving a warrant of arrest in his hiding place in Lian, Batangas.
According to the Lian Municipal Police Station (MPS) Chief Maj. Amiel Bernardo C. Sanhi, Jr., the suspect was charged with rape through a sexual assault in relation to Republic Act 7610, known as the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act.
The warrant was issued by Presiding Judge Cefelene Raynon Goco of the Family Court Branch 11 of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro, and served around 4:20 p.m. at the suspect’s hiding place by Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO), the lead unit, Lian MPS, 2nd Batangas Mobile Force Company (BPMFC), 403rd Regional Mobile Force Branch RMFB-4A, and Calapan CPS.
