ORIENTAL Mindoro – Over the past ten days, there has been a rapid increase in COVID-19 cases in the province and resulted in an increase in the Hospital Care Utilization Rate therefore the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) placed Oriental Mindoro under Alert Level No. 3 which will run until January 31.

“If we cannot immediately stop the rise of new COVID-19 cases that will result in further overcrowding of health care facilities, there is a great possibility that we will be placed on a higher alert level,” Governor Humerlito “Bonz’ Dolor said.

Consequently, and on the recommendation of Health Officers throughout the province including the Oriental Mindoro Medical Society in the meeting, Gov. Dolor signed the Executive Order No. 2, Series of 2022 laying down the guidelines on the implementation of Alert Level No. 3 exists from January 14 to 31 in the province of Oriental Mindoro in accordance with the IATF Guidelines.
