This is the message of Oriental Mindoro Governor Bonz Dolor to 30 rebel returnees and the distribution of the assistance held at Tamaraw Hall, Provincial Capitol Complex.

The provincial government spearheaded the humanitarian work through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), headed by Officer Zarah Magboo, in collaboration with various agencies such as the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), led by Provincial Director Maria Victoria Del Rosario CSEE, 203rd Infantry (Bantay Kapayapaan) Brigade led by Brigadier General Jose Augusto Villareal and representatives of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

At least 11 “militia bayan” received P15,000 each, and former members of the New People’s Army (NPA) received P65,000 each.

The Oriental Mindoro provincial government hopes this would help the former rebels for their “new life” and use it for their families’ welfare.
