SOCORRO, Oriental Mindoro –Through the ‘Caravan Convergence for Peace Service,’ various government agencies recently reunited to provide the basic services of their office to the people of Bgy. Fortuna of this town, Gov. Humerlito A. Dolor said.
The said barangay also covers the community of indigenous Mangyans who have received services from the government.
In addition to various support services, the program mainly includes the peace mobilization campaign.
“This is our President’s program. It started with the declaration of Executive Order No. 70, ‘that’s what ELCAC is called. It is part of the program as an integration of all sectors. This is our new approach. This is being promoted so that all government agencies can be included to provide services, ”said Lt. Col. Bienvenido R. Hindang, battalion commander of the 76th Infantry Brigade, Philippine Army.
In this regard, various representatives of government agencies also explained their services on how they can be provided to remote communities such as Bgys. Fortuna, Ma. Concepcion, and Bugtong na Tuog.
Meanwhile, Socorro Mayor Bubot Brondial also reminded his citizens not to join the principles that can be offered to them against the government.
On the part of the provincial government, Dolor distributed fruit crops, vegetable seeds, mosquito nets, hygiene kits, bags, school supplies, sports equipment, and much more to the people.
