One ID system in Pasig to hasten public service — Discaya
A STAND-ALONE One ID system proposal will be introduced by top mayoralty candidate Sara Discaya in Pasig City, streamlining the process of delivering assistance to all eligible residents.
This initiative would facilitate quicker access to support services, including financial aid, complimentary medical check-ups, and various benefits to be provided by the local government.
“As we enter 2025, we are actively transforming Pasig into a city that prioritizes efficiency, speed, and modernity. We are committed to ensuring that no Pasigueno faces difficulties in accessing vital services,” Discaya said.
The leading candidate for mayor of Pasig, Discaya, stated that the “One ID system” will enhance modernization and eliminate bureaucratic obstacles in the delivery of services and assistance, ensuring comprehensive support for all residents through a more efficient, swift, and equitable approach.
Dubbed “Pasigueno Pamilya Tayo with Pasig I.D. Card:” it is a collaborative vision of Discaya for a modern and Smart City by early 2025.
“We are committed to shaping the future of Pasig—a city that prioritizes efficiency, speed, and modernization. We aim to eliminate the challenges faced by every Pasigueño in accessing vital services,” the well known philanthropist and successful businesswoman said.
“Through the advancement of modernization, this program will streamline the process of delivering help and support, making it more efficient and equitable for all. Consequently, we are excited to introduce Pasig ID, which will serve as a gateway to expedited services and assistance,” Discaya said.
Discaya said the introduction of the One ID system in Pasig City could serve as a model for the national government to adopt this initiative across the country, enhancing the speed and efficiency of transactions in both government and private sectors.
She said through modernization, it would streamline the process of delivering help and support, making it quicker and more equitable for all.
“Among the improve assistance that will be introduced by the Pasig ID, it will expedite the service and assistance, enhance access to aid and financial support, rapid and organized distribution of financial aid, holiday gifts, educational supplies, food packages, and various other benefits,” she added.
It will also improve healthcare services, because a simple scan will easily access to free check-ups, medications, and additional medical support.
Discaya vowed that the long line will be a thing of the past.
“The process is now straightforward and efficient. Service is direct, quick, and hassle-free. Thanks to Pasig, everything is simplified! Let’s come together, Pasigueño Family! We can achieve this. So let’s do it!” Discaya added.
