OFW NAILIGTAS SA ABUSADONG MAG-ASAWANG EMPLOYER
SA tulong ng Royal Thai Police, nailigtas ng mga tauhan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang isang overseas Filipino worker na pinagmalupitan, inabuso at pinilit pang magpa-abort ng kaniyang employer sa Pattaya City, Thailand.
Gayunman, pansamantala munang hindi pinangalanan ang biktima.
Naaresto din sa operasyon ang suspek na si Ibrahim Hashim Al-ami, isang Iraqi national, at misis nito na ngayon ay nasa kustodiya ng Pattaya City Police Station.
Ayon kay PNP-Public Information Office Chief Police Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, naganap ang operasyon nitong Marso 22 sa Pattaya sa Thailand sa tulong ng office of the Police Attaché Thailand at Philippine Embassy sa Bangkok.
Napag-alaman na ang biktima ay ginahasa at nabuntis ng kaniyang employer kung saan pinilit na ipa-abort ang bata.
Agad namang pinasalamatan ni PNP Chief Police Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr. ang kanilang counterpart dahil sa matagumpay na rescue mission.

“We are grateful for the excellent coordination and collaboration between the Royal Thai Police and the Office of the Police Attaché, under the supervision of the Philippine Embassy Bangkok.
