The zipline called “Slide for Life” is an obstacle challenge and one of the attractions in a camp site at Sitio Gapang in Bgy. Bagumbayan in Kalinga.

The hurdler is supposed to fall on the water but unfortunately, Gaayon missed the water and instead fell into the pool’s concrete pavement.

A safety net also failed to protect the victim after it was ripped apart.

Gaayon was rushed to Kalinga Provincial Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
