NPA rebel yields in Bulacan
CAMP General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos–A member of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) surrendered to the authorities in Malolos, Bulacan on September 5, 2023.
In a report to police Regional Office (PRO)-3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., Bulacan police commander Col. Relly Arnedo said alias Ka Boy, 40, a member of the Rebolusyonaryong Hukbong Bayan (RHB) surrendered to authorities at Camp Alejo S Santos in Bgy. Guinhawa, Malolos, Bulacan.
The Force Commander, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) and joint elements of the 1st PMFC, Bulacan PIU, 2nd PMFC, 301st MC RMFB, 24th SAC, 2SAB PNP SAF and 70IB PA facilitated the surrender of Ka Boy on September 5.
Ka Boy, who also turned over an unlicensed cal. 38 and five .38 live bullets, is now under the custody of the 1st PMFC for investigation and custodial debriefing.
Hidalgo vowed an intensified campaign against insurgency and terrorism to ensure peace in Central Luzon.
