Noveleta, Tagaytay in Cavite start inoculation of economic frontliners

NOVELETA, Cavite – Two localities in Cavite yesterday started the vaccination of A4 priority groups or the economic frontliners.

The Tagaytay City Health Office and Noveleta Rural Health Unit began their inoculation program for A4 priority group at the Tagaytay International Convention Center in Bgy. Kaybagal, Tagaytay City and Primark Town Center in Bgy. Magdiwang.

Around 600 residents composed of teachers, LGU personnel, traffic enforcers and other qualified individuals were inoculated in the upland city of the province.

Tagaytay has already vaccinated 7,599 (1st dose) people for both Sinovac and AstraZeneca while 3,801 were fully vaccinated as of June 13.

Noveleta residents belonging to the A4 group got their 1st jab of Sinovac Biotech vaccine, the same with Tagaytay City economic frontliners.

Tagaytay LGU also hosted the simulation exercises for the coming of Pzifer Covid-19 vaccine for Tagaytay, General Trias and Tanza town.

Tagaytay City health officer Dr. Liza Capupus, Dr. Jonathan Luseco of General Trias City and Dr. Ruth Punzalan of Tanza municipality attended the simulation exercises conducted by the Department of Health Calabarzon and the Cavite Provincial Health Office.

“We showcase the readiness of Tagaytay LGU for the vaccination, we already purchased Biobase Laboratory Refrigerator for Covid-19 vaccine, speciallly for Pzifer vaccine,” Capuspus said.

The DOH will distribute Pzifer vaccines to GenTri, Imus, Bacoor, Dasmariñas, Trece Martires, Cavite City, Tanza and Carmona, all in Cavite.
