Noveleta LGU holds Buntis Congress 2022
NOVELETA, Cavite – The local government here, through Noveleta Health Office, held its 5th Buntis Congress on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Noveleta Gymnasium in Barangay San Rafael II.
Mayor Dino Chua, Municipal Health Officer Dr. Ma. Hilda Bucu, and Councilor Kate Bernal of the Committee on Health led the program, which was attended by around 200 pregnant moms in the locality.
The local health office conducted free laboratories for attending mothers and free medical consultations.
They also received pregnancy kits that they could use during their birth.
“Dito po sa ating bayan ay alaga po natin at suportado ang mga kahalagahan ng kalusugan ng bawat mamamayan lalo na po ang mga buntis natin mga kababayan, kaya nagtayo po tayo ng lying-in clinic at ang Noveleta MedCare Hospital po sa Barangay San Jose,” Mayor Chua said.
“Panatiliin po nating magpre-natal check-up sa ating health center upang mapangalagaan po natin ang inyong pagbubuntis,” Dr. Bucu said.
Also gracing the program are Cavite 1st District Board Member Davey Chua, Councilors Ricky Saria, Edwin Salud, Dave Manalo, SK (Sangguniang Kabataan) Federation President John Patrick Barzaga, and Ludette Lontoc of DOH (Department of Health) Cavite.
