Noveleta LGU gives free flu vax for elderly
NOVELETA, Cavite – Local government here under Mayor Dino Chua, through the Municipal Health Office (MHO), launched a free flu vaccine program for all senior citizens residing in the locality for their protection against flu disease.
Dr. Ma. Hilda Bucu, head of the Noveleta MHO, encouraged local seniors from 16 villages of the locality to avail of the free flu vaccine.
The Noveleta Lying-in Center office is open at the municipal hall grounds from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for those who want to be vaccinated, which will last until January 31, 2023.
“For those who will be vaccinated, just bring the Flu vaccination record (if previously vaccinated), PhilHealth ID or MDR and Senior Citizen ID,” Mayor Chua said in an interview.
