Noveleta launches ‘Chikiting Bakunation Days’ in 16 villages
NOVELETA, Cavite – Parents went early carrying their babies for the first day of “Chikiting Bakunation Days”, Thursday, April 28, 2022, in all 16 local villages here in the progressive coastal town of Cavite.
In response to the Program of the Department of Health (DOH), the local health office here, through their respective barangay health workers, administers the vaccination against polio, measles, hepatitis B, pneumonia, and other vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs) for babies aged 0 to 29 months old that will run on April 28-29; May 26-27; and June 23-24, 2022.
“This program is dedicated to babies that are not yet vaccinated of those vaccines, na nalampasan na, because of lockdowns,” said Dr. Ma. Hilda Bucu, Municipal Health Officer.
“These vaccines are free from the national government, please come, and your respective sons and daughter got vaccinated,” Dr. Bucu added.
