No. 3 most wanted arrested in Tarlac
Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The No. 3 most wanted felon in Calabarzon was arrested in a manhunt operation Tuesday in Tarlac.
Tarlac police chief Col. Rebante Cabico said his men, together with members of the San Manuel, Rosario, and Batangas police, launched an operation in Purok 7, Bgy. San Vicente, San Manuel, Tarlac which resulted in the arrest of Abundio Ilag, of Bgy. Matamis, Rosario, Batangas.
Ilag was nabbed for rape based on a warrant issued by Rosario, Batangas RTC Branch 87.
Ilag went into hiding for more than five years before his arrest in San Manuel, Tarlac.
“Anchored on the Intensified Cleanliness Program (ICP) of the PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Ellazar relative in cleansing our community, all police units are working together to arrest all persons sought by law to offer more peaceful streets for the general public,” said PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon.
