Nieves provides more arms to 4 police stations in Isabela

CAMP MARCELO A ADDURU, TUGUEGARAO CITY – To further ensure the safety of the public and to boost their campaign versus criminality in the region, more high-powered firearms were distributed to Isabela police.

B/Gen. Crizaldo Nieves, Region 2 director, said this is to ensure the strict implementation of the Intensified Cleanliness Policy (ICP) of the PNP during his his visit in the area as he conducted a random inspection of four police stations in Isabela.

Speaking before personnel of the four police stations, Gen. Nieves reiterated the directives of Chief PNP Guillermo Eleazar to always keep police stations clean, observe proper conduct and maintain peace and order in the community.

The RD added that it is a must to start this discipline at the lowest police units for the people to emulate. He also enjoined all PNP personnel to continue the conduct of PRO2 Lingkod Bayanihan and BARANGAYanihan activities that bring the police closer to the people.

The regional director also turned over seven Galil Rifles and a computer set to the San Guillermo Police Station; five Galil firearms and a computer set to the Angadanan Police Station; six Galil rifkes and a computer set to the San Agustin Police Station and seven Galil firearms and a computer set to the Jones Police Station.

The long firearms were received by the statiojs’ respective chiefs of police.

The said computers are intended for the furtherance of the PNP’s E-Sumbong and PRO2 E-Serbisyo, said Nieves.

Local chief executives and other elected local government officials of the said towns attended the turnover of the equipment and pledged their continued support to the PNP during the RD’s visit to their police stations.
