TO ensure the quality of its housing projects, National Housing Authority (NHA) General Manager Joeben Tai conducted an ocular inspection of NHA housing projects in Caloocan City on Friday, November 25, 2022.

Accompanied by NHA Caloocan District Office Manager Emelina D. Balaoing, Tai personally visited the agency’s three ongoing projects in the city that will be the homes of beneficiaries who will be affected by government infrastructure projects.

Tai first inspected the Deparo Residences, where 1,560 units are expected to be generated, followed by the Bagumbong Residences, which are expected to house 480 families.

The NHA chief’s last stop was the Bagong Silang Housing Project, which is expected to deliver 300 housing units.

Aware of the current housing situation in the country, Tai, upon his assumption to office, initiated the “Build Better and More” (BBM) housing program to help address the housing backlog in the country.

He vowed that the Housing authority will construct 1.3 million “quality, resilient, and affordable” shelters with sustainable communities for marginalized Filipino families.
