New Napolcom vice chair, executive officer named
THE National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) has a new Vice Chairman and Executive Officer (VCEO) in the person of Atty. Ricardo Bernabe III.
Malacanang in an order dated November 4, obtained by Journal Group, Bernabe, a NAPOLCOM Commissioner, was designated to replace Atty. Alberto Bernardo.
The order which was signed by President Marcos Jr. did not state if Bernardo had a new assignment.
A NAPOLCOM official who requested anonymity told this writer that the new VCEO has already assumed the post on November 12.
Bernabe’s appointment has left two commissioners’ seats vacant.
Last October 4, Commissioner Edilberto dela Cruz Leonardo tendered his resignation after he was implicated in the killing of three Chinese convicts. Malacanang accepted the resignation.
