BIG and small oil companies implemented an increase in their liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and auto LPG effective Friday, April 01, 2022

Major oil firm Petron Corporation jacked up its prices of LPG by P3.25 centavos per kilogram which would translate to P35.75 for every 11-kg. of cooking gas tank effective at 12:01 a.m. Friday.

Petron likewise imposed an increase of P1.81 centavos per liter of its auto LPG while independent oil firm Phoenix Petroleum also implemented an increase of P 1.80 per liter of its auto LPG.

Phoenix also carried out the same price adjustment of its cooking gas, also at 12:01 a.m. April 01 while Solane branded LPG at P3.27 per kilo, inclusive of VAT, which is equivalent to P35.97 per 11-kg. cylinder effective at 6:00 a.m. Friday.

Energy sources said the price increase reflects the international contract price of LPG from the month of April.
