New Laguna top cop assumes post
CAMP VICENTE LIM, Calamba City, Laguna – The Laguna Police Provincial Office has a new director in the person of Col. Rogarth Campo.
Police Regional Office 4A Director Brig Gen. Eliseo Cruz presided over the turnover of command on Monday between the outgoing provincial director, Col. Serafin Petalio II, and Ocampo held at Camp Brig. Gen Paciano Rizal in Sta. Cruz, Laguna.
Cruz commended the efforts of the outgoing provincial director for initiating numerous projects for the Laguna PNP.
“When chief PNP Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar implemented the Intensified Cleanliness Policy, Laguna PPO under Col. Petalio was the first to comply on his directive,” Cruz said.
The Laguna PPO under the leadership of Petalio was also recognized by the National Historical Commission for the construction of the Paciano Rizal Park.
Many projects were initiated by the outgoing PD.
“Kung lahat tayong officers do the same thing that Petalio has done, I am sure we will go above the standard of our organization. Sana tularan natin ang mga ginawa ni Petalio,” Cruz said.
The Calabarzon police director wished the best for the incoming police director of Laguna.
“I am confident that Laguna PPO is in good hands under Col. Campo,” Cruz said.
The regional police director called on all police personnel of the province to support Ocampo and the Intensified Cleanliness Policy of the PNP.
