NCRPO, PNP-IMEG to after erring metro cops
NATIONAL Capital Region Police Office director, Major General Sidney S. Hernia yesterday met officials of the Philippine National Police Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (PNP-IMEG) to reiterate their combined effort to go after erring policemen in Metro Manila.
The official said he and officers of the PNP-IMEG National Capital Region Field Unit chief, Lieutenant Colonel Manuel M. Cube discussed their continuing collaboration to uphold integrity and discipline in the ranks of the metropolitan police force.
Their meeting focused on ongoing operations and joint strategies to bolster internal monitoring and enforcement within the NCRPO, Maj. Gen. Hernia said.
He also reiterated his full support to the effort of the PNP-IMEG headed by Brigadier Gen. Warren F. De Leon to uphold integrity and address misconduct within the police ranks, stressing that discipline and accountability are a collective responsibility within the organization.
Also last week, the official met with PNP Training Service director, Brig. Gen. Victor V. Arevalo to discuss the two units’ mutual dedication to advancing police training standards.
The two officials also discussed their united effort to provide NCRPO officers and men with the necessary skills and integrity for exemplary service.
