A 46-YEAR-OLD woman on a police drug watchlist was nabbed with more than P.6 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation Tuesday in Caloocan City.

Operatives of the Caloocan Police Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) led by P/Maj. Dennis Oduhan arrested an alleged notorious drug pusher operating within the area of Camanava (Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela), after she sold a medium size plastic sachet of shabu worth P50,000 to an undercover cop at around 3:00 a.m. along Kaagapay Road, Bgy. 176, Bagong Silang.

In his report to National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director P/Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo, Acting Caloocan City Police Chief P/Col. Ruben Lacuesta said his men confiscated more or less 100 grams of shabu valued at P680,000 from the suspect, along with the marked money.

Lacuesta said the operation was part of the program S.A.F.E. NCRPO launched by Estomo to ensure the success of the anti-criminality campaign that can be “Seen, Appreciated and Felt by the people through Extraordinary actions”.

Estomo commended the Caloocan Police DEU operatives for their accomplishment and urged other anti-narcotics units in Metro Manila to strengthen their efforts in arresting high-value individuals involved in the illegal drugs trade within their area of responsibility.
