Navotas starts payout of SAP 2nd tranche deficit
THE city government of Navotas has started releasing local funds to complete the P8,000 Bayanihan 1 Social Amelioration Program (SAP) 2nd tranche due to some 4,986 Navoteño families.
The beneficiaries will receive P3,000 each through the SAP-LOLO Program (Saklolo Para sa mga Navoteñong Kulang ang Natanggap na 2nd Tranche SAP mula sa DSWD-NCR).
“Ito na po ang pinangako namin pagkatapos ng meeting sa DSWD NCR. Three weeks po ang hiningi namin noon pero nagmadali po talaga kami dahil alam naming matagal n’yo na itong hinihintay,” Mayor Toby Tiangco said.
The first payout was released to 3,105 beneficiaries who received their P5,000 cash aid in October 2021 under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program.
On March 12-13, 1,881 beneficiaries, who underwent validation last December and confirmed by the DSWD NCR to have not received their second tranche yet, will also receive their P3,000 emergency subsidy from the city government.
Last year, Navotas also allotted P32,417,000 and P26,558,000 to augment the ECQ Ayuda from the national fund government and help constituents who are not included in the list of beneficiaries.
