Navotas opens PESO helpdesk and Navoprodukto corner
NAVOTAS City Mayor John Rey Tiangco led the launching of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Helpdesk and NavoProdukto Corner Wednesday afternoon at the Navotas City Hall Lobby.
Mayor Tiangco said PESO Helpdesk provides information to Navoteño jobseekers and aspiring entrepreneurs on the services it offers and the programs of NavotaAs Hanapbuhay Center such as Tulong Trabaho, Tulong Puhunan, among others.
Meanwhile, the NavoProdukto Corner features products that are made and produced in Navotas such as fish paste or bagoong, fish sauce or patis, dried anchovy chips, dried squid, and canned seafood.
Most Navoteños derived their livelihood from fishing and its related industries like fish trading, fish processing, making fish sauce, shrimp paste, and others which attracts local consumers.
