Navotas City Hospital employees contract COVID, limits admissions
MAYOR Toby Tiangco announced that they need to limit the admission of patients at the Navotas City Hospital after several of its employees have contracted COVID-19.
On his “Abiso Navoteno” facebook page, Mayor Tiangco said employees who have tested positive for the virus were placed either under quarantine or in an isolation facility.
The limited admission at the city run public hospital started on Saturday evening, September 11, and will last until September 30, 2021.
“Humihingi po kami ng pasensya sa anumang abalang maidudulot nito. Pinapakiusap po sa lahat na humanap po muna ng ibang mapupuntahang ospital habang kulang ang staff natin sa NCH. Salamat po sa inyong pang-unawa at kooperasyon,” Mayor Tiangco said.
As of Tuesday, Navotas City recorded a total of 16,153 COVID-19 cases, 1,681 active cases, 478 fatalities and 13,994 recoveries.
