GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite – The Local government and the General Trias Police on Tuesday launched a National Police Clearance satellite office at Robinson’s Place GenTri during a ceremony held at the Lingkod Pinoy Center in Bgy. Tejero, this city.

Mayor Luis “Jon Jon” Ferrer IV, Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen, Lt Col. Jesson Bombasi, deputy director for administration representing Col. Leuterio Ricardo Jr. provincial police director; Maj. Mark Anthony Sarno, deputy police chief, and Lt. Col. Jaymar Marbella, local police chief of General Trias led the event.

“Thank you to Robinson’s Mall for this for a more accessible and convenient way to get Police Clearance, instead of at the main office of GenTri Police in Bagumbayan, which has no parking, it’s hot, here it’s cold and there’s plenty of parking,” Mayor Ferrer said.

The local government unit provided three complete sets of computers with printers to be used in applying for police clearance.

During the launching, the mayor shouldered the P180 application fee for the first 51 applicants.

Ferrer said the LGU will also provide six brand new police mobile cars and one SWAT vehicle to serve as additional force for the local police in maintaining peace and order.

The General Trias Police Station was adjudged as Best Component City Police Station in Calabarzon for the month of June this year, wth a grade of 98.05 percent in Unit Performance Evaluation Rating.
