Napolcom opens online application for PNPE, PROMEX

THE National Police Commission (Napolcom) started accepting applications for the nationwide conduct of the PNP Entrance (PNPE) Examination on December 3, 2022, and the PNP Promotional Examinations (PROMEX) on December 4, 2022, through its Napolcom Online Registration Information System (NORIS).

To make the Napolcom online registration platform for civilians and police officers who will take the PNPE and PROMEX more efficient and effective, the Napolcom has launched the NORIS, which replaced the Online Examination Application Scheduling System (OLEASS). Likewise, the new information system was designed to provide convenience in managing the registration of examinees and maintaining their records in a secure and efficient platform using the latest cloud-based technologies.

Registration of examinees to the NORIS is extended until November 2, 2022.

Before registering, applicants shall prepare scanned copies of the requirements (in JPEG or PNG format) and access napolcom-noris.org website or through the link found on Napolcom website www.napolcom.gov.ph.

The following steps shall be followed:

Step 1: Go directly to napolcom-noris.org website or through the link found in NAPOLCOM website www.napolcom.gov.ph.

Step 2: Click Register Here button to create account.

Step 3: Read Data Privacy Notice and click Proceed.

Step 4: For non-PNP personnel applying for PNPE, select the Civilian button. If applicant is already a PNP member, click the PNP Personnel button.

Step 5: Fill in the personal details required in the fields. Do not leave any blank fields. Type N/A if not applicable.

Step 6: Select Region to process documents.

Step 7: Submit /Upload the scanned copy of the following:

For PNP Entrance Examination Documentary Requirements:

– One (1) Government issued ID with signature (SSS, GSIS, Voter’s, Postal, Passport, Driver’s License, PRC, etc.);

– Birth Certificate issued by Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA);

– Complete Transcript of Records with Special Order issued by CHED (if applicable);

– Diploma from CHED-accredited schools, state universities, and colleges;

– Passport size photo with name tag (without cap) with white background and complete name tag (indicate rank before the first, middle and last names, if PNP member);

– Specimen Signature;

– Certified True Copy of Appointment/General Order (for a Patrolman/Patrolwoman with temporary appointment); and

– Other supporting documents (if any).

PNP Promotional Examinations Documentary Requirements:

– One (1) Government issued ID with signature (PNP, SSS, GSIS, Voter’s, Postal, Passport, Driver’s License, PRC, etc.);

– KSS/Promotion Order;

– Passport size photo with name tag (indicate rank before the first, middle and last names);

– Specimen Signature; and

– Other supporting documents (if any).

Step 8: Click the Finish Button.

Step 9: Log-in to the NORIS account and check if NAPOLCOM Regional Office validated the uploaded scanned documents. Once documents have already been validated, the available test center and apply buttons are shown. Click apply examination button and select region, testing center, examination category and examination date and, lastly, submit the application by clicking the Apply Button.

Step 10: FOR PAYMENT validation status will appear in the dashboard and applicant will be advised to proceed to the Regional Office for the payment of the examination fee corresponding to the examination he/she applied for, hereunder specified:

a. Four Hundred Pesos (P400.00) for PNP Entrance Examination

b. Four Hundred Pesos (P400.00) for Police Officer 4th Class Examination

c. Four Hundred Fifty Pesos (P450.00) for Police Officer 3rd Class Examination

d. Five Hundred Pesos (P500.00) for Police Officer 2nd Class Examination

e. Six Hundred Pesos (P600.00) for Police Officer 1st Class Examination

The applicant is given 48 hours to pay the examination fee from the time his/her application is validated. Non-payment of the application within the given 48-hour period will result in the forfeiture of his/her application. Applicant may also avail of the electronic mode of payment (e-payment), if available.

Likewise, applicant is advised to bring one (1) valid ID for verification of identity and one (1) legal size window envelope with P21.00 worth of postage stamp. Applicant who paid his/her examination fee through e-payment need not go to the Regional Office for the submission of the required legal size window envelope. Said envelope will be submitted to his/her proctor together with his/her printed Examinee Profile on the date of examination.

Step 11: Once payment has been validated, the FOR EXAMINATION status and Print NOA buttons are shown. Print the Notice of Admission (NOA) and Examinee Profile (EP) which will be generated by the NORIS. The NOA and EP shall be collected by the proctor on the day of the examination.

The NORIS is open to all applicants aspiring to be a member of the Philippine National Police, who have a bachelor’s degree and are not more than 30 years old, as well as Patrolman/Patrolwoman with a temporary appointment due to lack of appropriate eligibility.
