Napolcom activates OLEASS for conduct of PNP entrance exam

THE National Police Commission (Napolcom) has announced the activation of the On-Line Examination Application Scheduling System (OLEASS), through its website www.napolcom.gov.ph or www.oleass-napolcom.com, on July 1 and 2, 2021, respectively, for the conduct of the PNP Entrance examination using the Computer-Assisted Examination (NAPOLCOM CAEx).

The exam will be held on July, August, September, October and November 2021 at the Napolcom Central Office in Quezon City.

The period of filing an application for examination through the OLEASS shall be on the following dates: July 16; August 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27 and 31; September 16, 17, 20, 21, 23, 24, 27, 28, and 30; October 4, 5, 7 and 8; November 4, 5, 8, 9, 11 and 12, 2021. No walk-in applicants will be accommodated.

The OLEASS is open to all applicants aspiring to be a member of the Philippine National Police (PNP), who have a bachelor’s degree, and not more than 30 years old, as well as patrolman/patrolwoman with temporary appointment due to lack of appropriate eligibility.

Napolcom Vice Chairman and Executive Officer (VCEO) Vitaliano N. Aguirre II said only 15 examinees or 33% of the actual capacity of the examination room, which has an actual seating capacity of 46 examinees, shall be accommodated with distance of at least one (1) meter apart.

Aguirre added that the CAEx which was scheduled on May 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11 and 14, 2021, that was cancelled due to the declaration of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal, will be rescheduled on July 5, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13 and 15, 2021.

In accessing the OLEASS, applicants may choose the desired date of examination and fill out the mandatory fields thereon. Those with confirmed schedule shall receive auto-generated email informing them to access the link where the applicants will input the necessary information in the application form. The duly accomplished application form must be presented by the applicant to the Examination Application Processor from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. (processing time) at the Ground Floor, DILG-NAPOLCOM Center, EDSA corner Quezon Avenue, Quezon City on their scheduled examination date.

Confirmed applicants are also reminded to bring the following:

1. E-mailed Confirmation Slip, duly accomplished Application Form, Index card and two recent, identical in color 1”x1” ID pictures with white background and complete name tag (for PNP members, the name tag should indicate the rank before the name)

Confirmation slip may be accessed and printed by logging in at the link provided at the NAPOLCOM website using the applicant’s complete name as verification code.

2. Examination fee of Php 600.00

3. One legal size window envelope

4. Authenticated Transcript of Scholastic Record (with Special Order issued by CHED) and Diploma

5. Birth Certificate in security paper issued by the PSA

6. Any two (2) valid government issued IDs with signature (SSS, GSIS, Voter’s, Postal, Passport, Driver’s License, PRC)

Strictly “No I.D., No Processing”

7. As an additional requirement, applicant must present to the NAPOLCOM Medical Team a Medical Certificate issued by a licensed government physician from the Municipal/City/Provincial Health Office or other government health monitoring center/office where the examinee resides.

The Medical Certificate must be issued within 72 hours before the examination day, and must clearly state that he/she (applicant) is COVID-19 free. Medical certificates issued by private health institution shall not be accepted.

Also, Patrolmen/Patrolwomen with temporary appointment must bring a Certified True Copy of Attested Appointment, Plantilla Appointment, or Special Order, at the scheduled date of their examination.

Upon compliance with the above requirements, applicants shall proceed to the examination room located at the 20th floor of the Napolcombuilding for the three-hour examination. After the examination, examinees shall be given (personally) their respective Certificate of Eligibility or Report of Rating.

Examinees who fail the Napolcom CAEx shall be allowed to take the same exam after three months.

“The Napolcom reserves the right to deny any application for examination should there be lacking requirements and/or violation of examination and health guidelines/protocols,” Vice Chairman Aguirre said.

Only applicants with normal body temperature (up to 37.5 degrees Celsius) and with no other symptoms like sore throat, cough, colds, runny nose and nasal congestion, shall be allowed to enter the premises of NAPOLCOM.

Examinees shall be required to accomplish the Health Risk Assessment in the Revised Visitor’s Slip and, at all times, wear face mask and face shield while inside the building. Examinees should wear plain white shirt, dark pants and shoes during their scheduled examination date. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to enter the examination room.
